You can reach the ferry departure point in Porto Santo Stefano from the SS1 Aurelia.
From the north: about 34 km from Grosseto, turn off at Albinia towards Porto Santo Stefano, then continue for about 15 km.
From the south: about 140 km from Rome, turn off at Orbetello towards Porto Santo Stefano, then continue for about 15 km.
By bus

From Rome, you can reach the ferry departure point in Porto Santo Stefano with the SATA Roma bus service from Roma Tiburtina.
By train
• BY TRAIN
Take the Pisa–Rome railway line to Orbetello‑Monte Argentario station, then the Autolinee RAMA bus to the ferry departure point in Porto Santo Stefano.
There are about 20 services from Orbetello Scalo station to Porto Santo Stefano between 06:00 and 22:10. The bus journey to the ferry departure point takes 25 minutes.
By plane
• BY PLANE
A rail service connects Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino with the wider railway network, allowing you to continue to Orbetello‑Monte Argentario station. From the station, Autolinee RAMA buses run to the ferry departure point in Porto Santo Stefano.
